Our team is composed of diverse legal professionals with expertise in technology privacy intellectual property corporate law cybersecurity employment law tax regulatory compliance and litigation.

About the Role

Databricks is seeking a Contracts Negotiator to support its sales teams across multiple verticals. Reporting to the Director Assistant General Counsel you will review draft and negotiate a wide range of customer agreements including Master Services Agreements NDAs order forms and SOWs. This role requires a strong understanding of contract negotiation and risk management techniques.

What Youll Do

  • Negotiate and draft MSAs NDAs order forms SOWs and other customer contracts to support Databricks sales verticals.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (sales finance compliance product security) to structure deals and resolve contractrelated issues.
  • Ensure compliance with key legal and regulatory frameworks including data privacy security and industryspecific requirements.
  • Improve contract management processes assisting with template enhancements and best practices to support scalability.
  • Advise on legal and business risks becoming a trusted resource for sales and other crossfunctional teams.

Who You Are

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
  • 3 years of contract negotiation experience preferably in SaaS software licensing or technology transactions.
  • Experience supporting HLS public sector or financial services customers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Processoriented mindset with experience improving contracting workflows in a fastpaced environment.
