The Senior Technical Recruiter Data AI & Cloud is a critical role responsible for identifying attracting and hiring toptier talent in the rapidly evolving fields of Data Science Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing with a particular focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This individual will build and maintain a robust talent pipeline proactively source candidates with highly specialized skillsets and partner closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and contribute to the strategic growth of our Data AI and Cloud initiatives. The Senior Technical Recruiter plays a pivotal role in ensuring Nerdery remains competitive by securing the best Data AI and Cloud talent in the market.

What things you will do as a Nerd

• Lead by example and help drive a highlevel of performance to meet the companys ambitious hiring plans particularly within the Data AI and Cloud space.
• Manage individual requisition load contributing to sourcing and hiring targets with a strong emphasis on roles requiring expertise in GCP technologies Machine Learning Data Engineering and related fields.
• Handson management of the full cycle recruiting process for all roles ensuring a positive candidate experience and effectively conveying the value proposition of working at Nerdery.
• Proactively source candidates through various channels including online job boards social media industry events and networking with specialized communities within the Data AI and Cloud ecosystems.
• Build and maintain a strong network of Data AI and Cloud professionals.
• Collaborate with internal hiring managers and technical leaders to deeply understand their hiring needs technical requirements and project roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Data AI and Cloud technology landscape including key players emerging trends and indemand skillsets.
• Resolve hiring issues including bringing new recruiting tools and ideas to the organization with a focus on those effective in attracting Data AI and Cloud talent.
• Develop and implement recruitingrelated programs including creative sourcing plans with a focus on sourcing programs that generate Data AI and Cloud talent.
• Create maintain and manage job postings internally and externally ensuring they accurately reflect the technical requirements and attract qualified candidates.
• Ensure that recruiting stakeholders have the tools and training necessary to participate in the recruiting process.
• Manage outside staffing agency relationships if necessary.
• Effectively preboard all newly hired candidates and ensure appropriate handoff to onboarding team.
• Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Greenhouse
• Develop strategic relationships throughout the organization
• Develop relationships with industry groups and meetup leaders.

What Skills Will Help You Be A Successful Nerd

• 5 years of experience technical fullcycle recruiting with a demonstrated track record of successfully recruiting Data Scientists AI/ML Engineers Cloud Architects Data Engineers and other specialized roles within the Data AI and Cloud domains.
• Deep experience recruiting specifically for GCP environments.
• Possesses a strong network of Data AI and Cloud professionals with the ability to leverage those relationships to identify and attract top talent.
• Strong understanding of Data AI and Cloud technologies including GCP services machine learning frameworks data engineering pipelines and related concepts.
• Highly proficient in ATS functionality and enhancement. Experience specifically with Greenhouse ATS is a plus.
• Deadline driven communicative team player that is detailoriented and has strong interpersonal skills
• Wellversed with working crossfunctionally to help resolve hiring issues and drive hiring processes
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Flexible and can easily adapt to changing priorities
• Strong knowledge of the business and the industry as a whole
