Village Green Landscapesis a locally owned and operated fullscale landscape company serving the Twin City metro area with office locations in Saint Paul New Brighton Brooklyn Park and Savage.
Village Green Landscapesis looking for a full timeLawn Care Technician. this position can work out of our St. Paul Brooklyn Park or Savage location.
Possibility for fulltime year round employment if the candidate is interested in commercial snow removal in the winter months. Benefits eligibility with year round employment.

Pay Range: $27.00 $32.00 / hour DOE
POSITION SUMMARY:This position serves as a key team member to ensure our customer properties are beautiful safe and well maintained. Our Lawn Care Technician position provides application of fertilizers and pesticides for the purposes of lawn growth tree ornamental turf preservation and control for our customer properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for handling mixing and application of pesticides herbicides fertilizers and chemicals via dry and liquid machines
- Operates and maintains all equipment within company safety and preventive maintenance standards
- Maintains records of job status
- Proficient in the use of various operating systems and technology to track and report jobs
- Provides excellent customer service
- Works collaboratively with the team and company leadership
- Works autonomously demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Commercial Pesticide Applicator license for core (A) and turf & ornaments (E)
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
- Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one
- Must be able to pass a pre employment drug test
Preferred
Commercial Applicator license for aquatic (F) and insect control (S)
