Job Title
Data Quality Analyst Global Supply Chain SourcingPosition Overview
The Data Quality Analyst will be an enabler of our journey to restore data quality and business ownership to the enterprise by aligning technology and business strategies through simplification and standardization. This role serves as an insights analyst supporting the global sourcing organization by delivering valuable business insights that drive informed decisionmaking. The Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy consistency and compliance of data across the organization. This role involves establishing and maintaining data quality standards and rules performing data quality assessments and conducting quality assurance tests to monitor data integrity. The analyst will collaborate with crossfunctional teams including business and IT departments to identify and address data quality issues drive improvements and align data management with company policies and legal requirements. Additionally the Data Quality Analyst will play a key role in executing data cleansing efforts recommending process improvements and ensuring datadriven decisionmaking through effective governance and controls. Our ideal candidate has strong analytical skills pays great attention to detail and has a deep understanding of databases and data analysis procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
Govern Global Supply Chain Sourcing (legal contractual and item) data to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
Identify root causes of data quality issues assess financial and operational impacts opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance data quality.
Build data quality metrics and dashboards using SQL Tableau and Data Bricks to track and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with data producers and consumers to ensure data quality throughout the data lifecycle ensure compliance with internal standards and deliver required data for sourcing systems.
Collaborate with others to define and maintain data quality standards and rules to ensure consistency across datasets.
Work with management to prioritize data quality based on business needs.
Report on data quality issues and metrics to track progress and improvements.
Inform business teams of data quality issues their causes and impacts to raise awareness and drive action.
Perform internal audits and quality assurance tests to ensure high data quality and report findings to stakeholders to verify data integrity accuracy and compliance.
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends patterns and quality issues.
Clean and filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to resolve issues.
Support the creation of data governance documentation under the BI Managers guidance.
Assist in implementing global sourcing data quality strategies policies and standards.
Collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance to ensure data management aligns with company policies and compliance.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in IT Business Mathematics Computer Science Information Management Statistics or a minimum of four years of relevant experience in data analysis data quality data engineering or data governance.
2 years of experience with SQL or Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in the development of data visualizations.
1 year of experience in data quality data validation or auditing frameworks.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying trends interpreting complex data and making actionable recommendations.
Experience with query writing report generation and presenting insights to inform business decisions.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the enterprise and build mutually beneficial relationships with diverse teams.
Ability to hold data stewards accountable to Data Governance policies and maintain strong collaborative relationships.
