Job Description
RESPEC seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Colorado Springs or Loveland CO locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve our clients technical challenges
- Develop project designs plan drawings engineering reports technical specifications and other contract deliverables
- Track project progress within established project scopes and schedules and alert project managers of any issues that may affect them
- Prepare clear and concise written communications and participate in client and team meetings
- Present design projects as required as part of outreach to clients and the public.
Qualifications :
Required:
- A bachelor of science degree in civil engineering environmental engineering or a related engineering field
- Approximately 3 to 7 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities including pumping systems water and wastewater treatment collection and distribution systems and other waterresources related facilities
- Possess an EngineerInTraining certification.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or the ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience related to water and wastewater facilities including pumping systems water and wastewater treatment collection and distribution systems and other waterresources related facilities
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles
- Understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure
- Design plans and specifications production experience
- Software knowledge (e.g. Excel Word GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Information :
Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The typical salary range for this position is $80000 to $100000 Compensation includes a comprehensive fringebenefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employeeowned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
