About the Role
We are looking for a Specialistto assistthe Supply chain and Logistics Manager/Deputy Responsible Person in maintaining effective compliant operation of specialist FDAlicensed Facility and associated international shipping/logistics in relation to highvalue pharmaceutical and healthcare products
What will your job look like
- Order Preparation & Dispatch Picks packs and prepares customer orders using appropriate (including temperaturecontrolled) packaging and documentation
- Stock Management Receives checks stores rotates and maintains accurate records of stock to ensure availability for dispatch
- Storage & Equipment Use Ensures safe and compliant storage of goods including the appropriate use of equipment like forklifts and pallet trucks
- Quality & Compliance Adheres to all relevant SOPs GDP H&S and regulatory standards (e.g. FDA) ensuring temperature control and product integrity
- Customer & Supplier Liaison Communicates with customers suppliers and thirdparty logistics to ensure timely compliant and costeffective deliveries
- Problem Solving & Service Identifies and resolves logistical issues efficiently delivering solutionsfocused customer service
- Support & Leadership Supports quality audits deputises for the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager and provides crossfunctional communication
- Logistics Coordination Assists in transport planning import/export compliance and timely product shipment in line with customer and regulatory needs
- System Use & Administration Maintains accurate documentation and uses internal systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics NAV SharePoint) proficiently
- Physical & OutofHours ReadinessPerforms physical tasks (lifting bending) supports emergency scenarios and promotes a culture of continuous improvement
What will you need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- GDP/GMP in a pharmaceutical environment an advantage
- Forklift truck licence
- Experience of working to stringent quality standards and keeping records demonstrating compliance
- Ability to sit stand lift up to 50lbs walk and bend frequently
