Job Description
Job Title: Associate Professor General Medicine
Job Summary:
Deliver highquality teaching clinical training and research in General Medicine.
Mentor medical students residents and junior doctors.
Ensure excellence in patient care and academic programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching & Academic Duties:
Conduct lectures seminars and bedside clinical training.
Develop and update medical curriculum & study materials.
Evaluate students through exams case presentations and research projects.
2. Clinical & Patient Care:
Provide diagnosis treatment and management of complex medical cases.
Supervise OPD IPD and emergency medical services.
Ensure evidencebased and ethical patient care.
3. Research & Publications:
Lead/publish research in peerreviewed journals.
Secure grants and guide student research projects.
Participate in national/international conferences.
4. Administrative & Leadership Roles:
Contribute to departmental meetings audits and policymaking.
Supervise resident doctors and interns.
Ensure compliance with medical college/university regulations
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills:
MD/MS (General Medicine) from a recognized university.
Minimum 57 years of teaching & clinical experience (postPG).
Strong research background with publications.
Excellent communication leadership and mentoring skills.
Registration with State Medical Council/NMC.
