Job Description
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst with Insurance Domain
Location: Lansing MI
Hire Type: Fulltime
Project Overview: This project involves migrating a legacy desktop application developed in C and VC to a modern webbased application using Core Web API and React for the
front end. The project also includes integration with external systems and is highly complex. The role requires working onsite with the customer and coordinating with the offshore team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement process improvements across all steps of the business analysis delivery process
- Manage each step of the business analysis process from eliciting requirements to final signoff from business and technical stakeholders.
- Provide input and feedback for business analysis policies procedures governance and standards.
- Capture and document system flow and other relevant technical information that drives success for the team.
- Collaborate with business users IT teams and other stakeholders to gather and work closely with the customers business users during SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and Golive phases.
- Coordinate with the offshore team to ensure seamless project .
- Utilize tools such as Jira Confluence. SharePoint and any customerprovided tools extensively for project management and documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with integration of external systems.
- Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and experience working in Agile teams.
- Excellent communication and. collaboration skills to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams
- Familiarity with project management and documentation tools such as Jira Confluence
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
8 years of experience with business analysis requirements elicitation and documentation stakeholder relationship management and scrum/agile project delivery.
- Experience with insurance business
- Expertise in Excel PowerPoint Jira and similar tools
- Excellent verbal written and data communication skills
- Strong problem solving. organization at and analytical skills
- Ability to manage diverse projects impacting multiple roles and processes
- Ability to adapt to fast changing environment
