Job Description
About the role
We are currently looking for an Engineer to join the team at our Motueka Site.
You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairing plant equipment to minimise downtime and improve overall plant efficiency.
Hourly rate ranges from $35 $40 based on your experience and qualification as well as on call allowances.
As a Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Daytoday maintenance of the plant
- Reporting breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks through the softwarebased system
- Ensuring the production downtime is kept minimal
- Maintaining relationships with the internal and external stakeholders
- Following the health and safety/food safety procedures
Qualifications :
For this role youll need:
- Engineering Trade
- Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering experience
- FMCG or Secondary Industry (Food Processing) experience would be advantageous
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Efficiency and organisation
