Job Snapshot:

Deliver engaging studentcentered therapy sessions tailored to diverse communication needs.
Maintain detailed and confidential records of therapy sessions progress notes and IEP documentation.
Contribute to IEP development and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student progress.
Provide training and guidance to educators and families on fostering communication skills at school and home.
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities and determine appropriate interventions.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support speech language and communication development.
Work closely with teachers parents and school staff to integrate effective communication strategies into daily routines.
Stay uptodate on best practices and advancements in speechlanguage pathology through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

A candidate must hold a Master s Degree in Speech Pathology or a closely related field. They should either possess or be eligible to obtain an SLP license in the state of North Carolina. Additionally ASHA certification is a crucial requirement for consideration.
