Corporate Legal Oversight: Provide comprehensive legal guidance to support WORQs corporate strategy and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
Deal Structuring and : Draft negotiate and close various agreements including customer contracts partnership agreements shareholder agreements employment agreements and vendor engagements.
Real Estate and Leasing: Oversee leasing and landlord negotiations ensuring favorable terms for WORQs growing portfolio of office spaces.
Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead legal due diligence and contract negotiations for M&A and investment transactions safeguarding WORQs interests.
Partnership Development: Structure and manage joint ventures partnerships and other collaborative agreements with external stakeholders while cul
Compliance & Risk Management: Establish and maintain compliance frameworks for regulatory requirements risk assessments and dispute resolution.
Legal Operations Standardization: Develop templates policies and best practices to ensure efficiency and consistency across all legal processes.
Advisory Role: Support the management team with strategic growth efforts focusing on corporate deals in the industry as well as expansion plans with local landlords to drive growth and market presence.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; professional qualification (e.g. admission to the Bar) is required.
At least 5 years of legal experience with a strong background in corporate real estate or commercial law.
Direct experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements managing endtoend deals and navigating legal complexities in highgrowth environments.
Prior roles within investment banking venture capital/private equity or real estate firms are highly advantageous.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to manage highstakes transactions.
Exceptional analytical abilities to assess risks and devise effective strategies.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking.
Proven ability to lead legal operations and influence crossfunctional teams.
