Analyses financial status by collecting monitoring and studying data; recommending actions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track monitor analyse and control department budget
- Prepare monthly financial analysis of actual against budget
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost centers and management report
- Consolidate spending at divisional level and perform detailed analysis of cost on product level
- Recommends actions by analysing data and making comparative analyses
- Involve and focus heavily on budgetary control financial analysis and management reports
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data maintain database by entering verifying and backing up data.
- Involve in costing closing activities prepare reports after month end closing inventory reconciliation and maintain standard cost in Oracle.
- Prepare various reports and charts Operation Review when necessary.
- Involve in capital tracking and depreciation forecast
- Participate in adhoc projects and reports as assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time
- Ensure meeting company and departmental compliance to applicable legal and IMS requirements.
- Responsible for the health and safety of the individual at the workplace.
- Participate in related risk assessment activities eg. RA BCP BIA BPM
Qualifications :
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree in Accountancy Finance or Business Administration preferably a member of a professional body
- Minimum 35 years of working experience in the management reporting cost accounting budgetary control in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
PREFERRED:
- Able to manage routine workload and adhoc projects with minimal supervision
- Able to work independently as well as a team member
- Preferably good exposure to ERP accounting system
- Demonstrated experience with capital budget accounting financial analysis and reporting
SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in major languages. E.g. written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
- Good work ethics be at work on time work to your best ability and strive to meet target and deadline
- Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Flexible ability to quickly react to changing business needs
- Problem solving skills motivated to take challenges with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to act as team player
