Job Description

Our client is a luxurious resort who is looking for Director of Sales and Marketing working in Nha Trang:

  • Prepare Sales Reports and annual Sales & Marketing Plan
  • Develop rates, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management.
  • Knowledge of travel industry, current market trends and economic factors.
  • Work with sales managers to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.
  • Maintain and promote a team work environment with effective and clear communication amongst co-workers.
  • Create an effective Sales Programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the resort, its activities, culinary services, and personnel.
  • Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
  • Provide positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets example with personal booking goals).
  • Leads on-property sales functions to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree required
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession
  • At least 5 years of sales and marketing in the luxury hotel industry
  • Command of the English language both written and verbal
  • Experience in team management, leadership
  • Strong motivational, innovative and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial management and strategic planning skills.
