We are seeking a full-time Virtual Production Engineer to help support the operation of virtual productions, working with staff and clients.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:


· Manage and support media servers (Disgues, PIXERA, Unreal Engine).

· Manage and support tracking systems (stYpe, Vicon, OptiTrack).

· Manage and support routing and switching systems (E2, Ultrix, Blackmagic)

· Repair and maintain various computer and networking equipment used in productions.

· Build, fax, and support installations and fly packs per show requirements.

· Assist Project Managers with technical specifications for shows

· Represent NEP Sweetwater in a professional manner and provide expert advice to clients to ensure a first-class outcome of events.

· Other duties as assigned.



Requirements

· Minimum 3 years of experience providing technical services to the entertainment and broadcast industry

· Technical knowledge of switches, routers, audio, media servers, and other systems used in virtual production and live events.

· Up-to-date knowledge of latest proprietary broadcasting equipment, hardware, and software.

· Must be able to interface and communicate well with both clients and staff to provide a high level of service and support.

· Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time

· Basic understanding of electronics and willingness to learn broadcasting equipment.

· Strong communication skills.

· Proficient computer and networking skills.
