Our client is seeking to hire a Senior User Acquisition Strategist who will work as a data-driven mobile marketing expert to own strategy development and execution mobile solutions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing advertising efforts across mobile acquisition channels (Google UAC, Apple Search Ads, and Facebook), building and being accountable to growth models and forecasts, and overseeing mobile tracking and reporting. This is remote role based out of US or Canada
Role Overview
You will lead, develop and launch paid user acquisition strategies across major platforms for several of our client brands. You will personally be managing your own portfolio of mobile-first brands and overseeing the adoption of mobile best practices across all brands. Day-to-day tasks include executing strategy, regular optimizations, reporting, data analysis, process development, coaching, and stakeholder communication. Your channels of primary focus will be Facebook, Google UAC and Apple Search Ads.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage user acquisition campaigns on self-serve and managed platforms
- Lead the optimization efforts across creative, geographic, platform, and channel to maximize returns and deliver performance at scale
- Collaborate with data analysts and creative teams to identify scaling opportunities and further improve campaign performance
- Develop relationships with advertising partners and networks to test new traffic sources
- Monthly and quarterly budget forecasting and reporting of results
- Develop ongoing paid user acquisition strategy for our brands and ensure that recommendations and decisions are consistent with core business objectives
- Liaison with experts from other teams including organic search, product marketing, design, content, and web development
- Manage communications and partner with key brand stakeholders
- Educate and coach paid media team on mobile acquisition best practices
Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years of paid user acquisition for mobile apps
- Deep channel experience directly managing advertising on Facebook, Google UAC and Apple Search Ads
- Experience with Mobile Measurement partners (Kochava, Adjust, Appsflyer, Branch, etc.)
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools (Looker, Periscope, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Advanced Knowledge of Excel
- Strong ability to analyze business and platform data to inform optimizations and strategy
- Experience working with multiple departments to develop a unified marketing strategy
- Strong storytelling skills needed to deliver a potentially complicated situation simply
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects at the same time
- Data Modeling, Experience with ASO, Experience with SQL, and digital attribution familiarity are pluses
