A San Francisco-based non-profit client seeking a temp-hire Senior Staff Accountant to assist the Controller with daily accounting functions. Hourly pay rate is between $34-38 per hour. Please attach your resume or contact me directly for further information on this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, analyze, and manage monthly reconciliation of receivables, payables, and critical balance sheet accounts
- Review monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts, GL and spreadsheet analysis, maintain records of depreciation
- Allocate expenses to appropriate funding sources, prepare financial reports for government and funding agencies,contracts, variances, budgets.
- Research and organizae support documentation related to record entries.
- Communicate accurate financial information to allow for the proper business descisions and meanigful variance analysis.
- 4-5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with using Excel (entry to mid level)
- Experience using QuickBooks
