Pricing Analyst

Responsibilities include:

• To provide timely and accurate strategic pricing in accordance with business objectives.
• Knowledge of MRO pricing and RFQ process to meet strict turnaround times (TAT).

• Utilize and develop pricing tools and procedures
• Collation of drawings, specifications, Bill of Material and any other related documents.
• Support market analysis as it pertains to pricing and competitor activities.
• Analyze cost data, past selling price trends, open market availability and market needs
• Determine when discounts are to be given.
• Work in close collaboration with estimating team to ensure accurate pricing models consistent with company objectives and customer expectations.
• Customer management – support customer service team with customer communication regarding RFQ turnaround times and formal communication of quotes.
• Work closely with Customer Service & Sales Manager to develop winning pricing strategies.
• Support generating and analysing of key metrics on quotation conversion, competitor pricing, and other measures of effectiveness.
• Identify/suggest continuous process/procedure improvements that are beneficial to the role, company or our customers.

Job requirements:

Minimum educational and work experience requirements for the successful candidate will include the following

• Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or analytical field (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of experience working directly with customer facing departments, preferably market intelligence or pricing/cost estimating.
• Knowledge of US Government regulations concerning cost estimating and negotiation (FAR 12 & 15) desired
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and collaborate with various groups including peers and business partners
• Brings a strong entrepreneurial mindset to the role, with a solid focus on growing the business in a profitable manner.
• Ability to work with large volumes of numbers using spreadsheets to calculate and analyze product sales trends, profitability, inventory metrics, quotation metrics, etc…
• Some travel may be required (<10%)
• Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge required

• Knowledge of basic ERP functionality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
