Client is seeking a .Net SME for an existing development project. The position is for someone with experience in ETL, Back-End, Front-End and Application design, and development.

The Client is seeking a .Net SME for an information exchange project. The position is for someone with experience in developing new applications and extending existing applications. This includes analysis and review of current needs, ETL solutions and the development and implementation of both batch and online systems. The position will be responsible for all technical design documentation and artifacts involved in the project; designing the Application Architecture of the system; designing and developing services for interfacing with the data layer; and development of interface specifications, data dictionaries, and runbooks.

This is a highly skilled position and this candidate needs to be familiar with structured development methodologies and Agile methodology along with release management techniques. The candidate must have experience with software development within the .net framework and real time systems programming languages, software testing/quality assurance, proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.Net, and JavaScript. Additionally the candidate must be proficient with ASP.net, MVC, responsive design and Web API. The candidate must be an excellent communicator capable of leveraging technical and business comprehension to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.

2. Develops technical applications to support users.

3. Develops, implements, maintains and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.

4. Provides training for system products and procedures to other technical resources as needed.

5. Performs application upgrades.

6. Performs, monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real- time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.

7. Troubleshoots system issues as needed.

8. Ensures project life-cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.

The solution is largely in .NET environment, hence candidate should know .net and Microsoft environment including SQL, SQL server, SharePoint, interfaces etc.Project is expected to modernize the Unemployment Tax (UI) collection system over a period of 1-1.5 years. The project will use hybrid (agile and waterfall) approach to deliver the system. This is a brand new implementation, but will involve data migration, data conversion, system interfaces etc. The legacy systems are .NET technologies.
