The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for moving established leads through the sales pipeline. This role will qualify sales leads and partners with Account Executives to close prospective deals for FileWave services. The Inside Sales Representative role creates a positive first impression with FileWave s prospects and customers by providing them with a "world-class" experience.
Tasks
- Cold-call prospects provided from generated lists as well as other external sources
- Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email to cross-sell and up-sell
- Handle in-bound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database
- Ensure Trade Show or other event leads are immediately uploaded into CRM and followed up on to move through the sales process
- Create quotes, schedule meetings, and other assistive needs for the assigned outside account executive
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
- Develop sales opportunities through the pipeline for assignment to the outside Account Executive
- Conduct high-level conversations with the senior executives, influencers, and decision-makers of customers and prospects
- Effectively educate customers as to how FileWave services can solve their problems
- Research and further develop new and existing accounts (i.e., add contacts, regularly communicate, conduct strategic calls, etc.)
- Ensure follow up on leads through on-going meetings with assigned account executive
- Maintain a process of high-volume and rapid response to inbound inquiries and leads created by marketing campaigns
- Actively participate and contribute to new learning opportunities and personal/professional development
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- 1 2 years sales experience in a professional setting
- Bachelor s degree preferred
- Experience communicating frequently over the phone and/or formally presenting preferred
- Proficient and successful in lead generation and cold calling experience
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CRM, preferably Hubspot
- High performing self-starter, with high energy, a sense of urgency and a positive attitude
- Proven ability to work both independently as well as a member of a high-performance team with the ability to meet and exceed achievable goals
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multitask
- Ability to solve problems
