Designer II

Job Duties: Responsible for developing, designing, and executing a variety of animation and motion graphics projects from concepts to production and post-production, to simplify complex interactions and solve challenging design problems. Help define, and implement Reddits motion design system by thinking critically about how motion reinforces Reddits UX brand, enhances interactivity, and delights users. Conceptualize, create storyboards, design, and create animation using different styles and approaches for deliverables as needed. Utilize various Adobe CC tools and technologies including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Telecommuting is permitted. Some travel to Reddit offices may be required. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Digital Media, Graphic Design or closely related quantitative discipline and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in the field of computer graphics/design. Special Skill Requirements: (1) Adobe After Effects; (2) Adobe Photoshop; (3) Cinema4D; (4) Adobe Illustrator; (5) Adobe Premiere Pro; (6) Animation; (7) Octane Renderer; and (8) Virtual Reality.
