IRG is seeking Two C#.net Developers for its client . This job is 100% remote.

Role: C#.net Developer

Location: remote

Duration: 7+ months with possible extension

Project Description:

This project exists to begin the process of replacing existing aging methods with more modernized, easier to support methods. Two C# on ASP.NET, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft T-SQL developers are needed to transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code to meet business needs. Industry coding standards and the technology design developed by the Enterprise Architect are expected to be followed. Developers will need to transform code from other languages such as Ingres ABF, Ingres RW, Ingres SC, Perl, Cold Fusion, etc. Developers are expected to conduct unit and string testing and participate in periodic code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

All work is anticipated to be offsite.

Responsibilities:

• Rewrite legacy data integration programs into Dynamics 365 compatible code (e.g., C# plugins, etc.)
• Reverse engineer a 4GL legacy application into Dynamics 365 UI workflows/screens
• Build out new automations and enhancements as defined by the business area into the Dynamics 365 environment
• Assist with UAT testing and data validation
• Create operational and production support documentation and provide knowledge transfer
• Respectfully and effectively collaborate with other project team members

Minimum Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in Developer/Programmer role
• Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role

Desired Skills

• Development experience as a programmer or relevant role with Dynamics 365
• Three (3) years' experience as a developer using each of the following:
  • C# on ASP.NET
  • Microsoft T-SQL
• Ability to program in languages such as SQL, C, C# and Java Script
• Experience with Workflow frameworks
• Experience developing micro-services
• Ability to transform code into C#/ASP.NET and T-SQL from other languages such as:
  • Ingres ABF
  • Ingres RW
  • Ingres SC
  • an older dialect of Visual Basic
  • DOS .BAT
  • Perl
  • Cold Fusion
• Demonstrable ability to discover and fix errors in code
• Experience with tools such as version control, build management, requirements management, or bug and issue tracking
• An analytical mindset and critical thinking
• Ability to work independently and in agile/iterative teams
