Job Summary:

The Business Development Officer develops and executes strategies to increase company sales and profits by the recruitment of Integrated Software Vendors as referral and reseller partners. They identify profitable business opportunities, secure sound business deals, and lead business development associates.


Duties/Responsibilities:

.

Pursuing ISVs that need Payment Facilitation services

.

Managing leads from introduction to the signature of an agreement phase

.

Meeting with potential ISV partners to negotiate business deals.

.

Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.

.

Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.

.

Recruiting, training, and guiding business development staff as needed.

.

Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.

.

Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.

.

Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.

.

Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.

Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by management






Requirements


Required Skills/Abilities:

.

Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field.

.

Proven experience working as a business development officer or similar role.

.

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

.

The ability to travel as needed.

.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.

.

Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.

.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

.

Strong business acumen.

.

Proficiency in using CRMs like Hubspot to track progress

.

Detail-oriented.



Education/Experience:

.

3+ years as a Business Development professional

.

Payfac Experience a huge plus


Additional Requirements/Preferences:

.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on a phone and working on a computer.

.

Must be qualified to work in the United States

.

Preferred location in Tulsa, Oklahoma; nationwide remote work is acceptable

.

Most of the work is remote with occasional in person work depending on circumstances
