Business Architect Analyst

Job Description

Responsible for understanding enterprise-wide and business-specific strategies, and analyze and reimagine business capabilities, processes and data flows in order to enable the implementation of these strategies. Using strategic and analytical thinking, the individual will work closely with senior management and subject matter authorities across Business, Technology, Operations, etc. to understand current-state pain-points and opportunities, create long-term vision and strategic plans, as well as define future-state business blueprints.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of each business division s strategy, business model, operating model, processes, teams, and culture
• Perform current-state analysis and propose future-state capabilities, high-level process and data flows. Apply analytical approach to tackle ill structured problems and justify recommendations
• Create and manage business process modeling and documentation by using specialized tools to enable enterprise capability realization in order to deliver Business Architecture solutions.
• Work with other Business Architects to find opportunities to develop and/or reuse common capabilities across business units
• Work with automation teams to find opportunities to use business automation tools (e.g., robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence) to improve businesses and processes
• Synthesize analysis into clear recommendations and findings that add value
• Work in partnership with Business Units, IT and other collaborators to design and build sustainable solutions
• Create effective working relationships with team members, business teams, and key subject matter experts
• Foster a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation and Agile methodology
• Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior

Qualifications

• Entry Level
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in strategic and/or analytical roles and working with people in multi-functional teams
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Experience preparing and delivering presentations
• Previous related experience is preferable. Ideally, prior experience in strategy consulting and/or capital markets
