ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Hardware Operations team is a high-energy, collaborative, dedicated, results-driven, inclusive group. Creating amazing customer experiences is our North Star, and we love learning from the best.
As a Supply Chain Manager for Asia at Dance, you will:
- Analyze supply chain data and supply chain performance
- Set up a KPI (key performance indicator) framework and reporting structure
- Own the product evolution plan with suppliers (e.g., rolling-out design changes, cost-out initiatives, quality improvements, sub-supplier change) for running business
- Execute the demand plan for local suppliers
- Track logistics and optimize shipping times and costs
- Resolve issues, such as delivery delays
- Execute supply chain strategy and mitigate risks
- Represent the Dance purchasing team onsite to assist negotiations and contracting
- Ensure supply chain process meets quality standards and legal requirements
- Collaborate across the Dance organization and present to key stakeholders CTB (clear to build) reports, supply chain risk analyses, and cost-down strategies
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you:
- You have a deep understanding of the Asian supply chain, manufacturing, assembly and logistics landscape
- You love negotiating, planning, and bringing order to complexity
- You've sourced and shipped consumer electronic products (ideally bikes or other Light Electric Vehicles) at volume through contract manufacturing partnerships, and you enjoy communicating clearly and respectfully across multiple cultures
- You love gathering and analyzing data, and building purchasing forecasts and indicators
- You are comfortable working in a remote setup with an high level of autonomy in day-to-day business
- You have professional proficiency in English
- You have a bachelor s degree plus several years professional work experience in electronics or vehicle supply chain management
