Account Manager (Trade Credit Insurance)

Our client is a globally operating credit insurer, offering companies solutions to protect them against the risk of financial default of their clients, both in the domestic market and for export. We have 4,600 staff in 66 countries provide a local service worldwide.

Job Duties:

• Obtains the most appropriate carrier placements for assigned accounts based upon client advisory services assessment of clients needs.
  
• Product development and consultancy.
  
• Placement negotiation and transaction management.
  
• Submits coverage specifications and obtains quotes from carriers.
  
• Documents the binding of coverage and is responsible for the accuracy of binders.
  
• Maintains frequent interaction with practice offices, insurance markets, and regular contact with clients.
  
• Keep client advisory services informed concerning market conditions including pricing trends, coverage grants, and other underwriting issues.
  
• Develops strong working relationships with carriers and or/underwriters.
  
• Possesses strong knowledge of markets and carriers and their ability to write certain risks.
  
• Develops new products in conjunction with client advisory and underwriters.
  
• Financial Management.
  
• Maintains expense controls to help achieve financial goals.

Requirements

• Financial/accounting knowledge (Degree in Business Studies, Finance or related subjects
  
• Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel; Internet)
