General:
Providing BD Support for Finance, Funds and Restructuring, Corporate Transactions, Employment, Projects and Real Estate (incl. Project Finance), Disputes Resolution and our formal law alliance in Singapore.
Supports on the Singapore office client database, InterAction, and the maintenance of client lists.
Prepare and maintain marketing materials such as brochures, website / intranet content and client publications
Liaising with the Global Bids team on proposals for priority clients
Liaising with the BD Operation team on administrative tasks which require BD input
Working alongside the Asia marketing team to manage events, website / social media profiling, and article push strategies
Collaborates with the internal communications teams to share information on practice group news for various internal newsletters
Assists with management of the business development budget, submitting business development expenditure requests as per the approvals process.
Pitching
Working with fee earners on any requests for proposals or capability statements for the clients in the region, delivering pitches to the highest of standards and to deadlines.
Maintaining the Singapore pitch tracker
Assists fee earners and their assistants in maintaining their
CVsCollects information on closed deals and new matters opened to feed into the clients credentials system, keeping credentials up to date.
Act as a liaison between the fee earners and global bids team on proposals for priority clients
Events / Client Engagement
Organize events and seminars / webinars with the assistance of the Asia marketing team
source internal and external venues
prepare invite lists
draft and send invitations and documentation
communicating the event to all internal stakeholders
assist in setting up the event
during the event, helping with the registration process and logistics of the event
Working with the BD operation team to post articles on the firms website
Generating the mailing list and sending out the publication to clients
Communicating the publication internally to all stakeholders
Working with the social media team for posts to generate more awareness on the publications
Atleast 3 years of front line Business Development experience - ideally, will have worked within the legal industry or in the professional services environment.
Experience of managing pitches & ability to prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines.
High level of confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy.
