Our client is a leading European Wholesaler in the mobile phone accessories industry seeking to hire a talented Purchase Manager to expand their team.
Integrated into the Purchase Division, the ideal candidate will bring a real plus to the team on a daily basis by ensuring the highest possible grade of company satisfaction for the job assigned.
The role will require a highly dynamic and motivated candidate who is experienced in supporting an international trading organization and willing to go the extra mile on a daily basis.
Tasks
- Adhere to company guidelines, principles and procedures;
- Maintaining and updating purchase and suppliers records, gaining a clear understanding of sales team businesses and requirements;
- Serve as the link of communication between the Purchase department and internal/external stakeholders partners ;
- Maintain the company satisfaction through superior service, and developing relationships with existing suppliers via telephone calls and emails by proposing solutions that meet the organization's objectives;
- Attending daily, and weekly meetings with the purchasing team, preparing meeting minutes and sharing them with the team and creating follow up tasks in project management tools e.g ASANA;
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations;
- Identify product trends within the industry and identify new markets;
- Ensure supply chain management in a timely manner;
- Resolve any issues and problems faced with suppliers, transport companies, and customs clearance;
- Deal with the need to maintain trust with coordination with the sales team and other departments;
- Play an integral part in generating new product ranges;
- Updating purchase orders in ERP, following administrative workflows from request until creditor payment;
- Produce professional-quality reports, presentations, and briefs (monthly, quarterly and annual purchase forecasts);
- Supporting & working with the sales team on spot market requirements;
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working Experience in purchasing dpt;
- English C1 Level or equivalent;
- Sense of details: Meticulous & Analytic;
- Administrative skills: 100% Independent and self-organized;
- Anticipating Problems & Solve them: Be able to anticipate and find the right way for the company to handle issues. Always one step further;

- Extremely organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines;
- Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult suppliers;
- Advance computer skills including Microsoft Pack Office and Google Sheets;

- Able to provide comprehensive purchase reports to managers;
- Ability to work as part of a team and take directions accurately and execute them as agreed;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels;
