Turing is looking to hire a remote Golang Developer on behalf of a NASDAQ-listed cryptocurrency platform. The developer will spend a significant amount of time establishing the infrastructure to automate code deployment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. They will also be managing and optimizing the platforms Ad APIs, SEOs, internationalization, etc. The online platform enables traders, consumers, and merchants to buy, sell and trade with digital currencies. This will be a long-term contract that can turn into a full-time opportunity. It requires a minimum of 6 hours overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Produce high-quality results by leading and contributing to cross-functional projects
- Actively own features or systems and define their long-term goals and objectives
- Build and maintain scalable and well-documented stacks
- Identify errors and fix bugs in the software applications
- Upgrade, test, and deploy software with the latest features
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end or Golang developer
- Extensive experience with Golang and Ruby on Rails
- Nice to have some familiarity with payments, credit risk, financial regulatory, or performance marketing tool
- An analytical thinker with an eye for simple, robust solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a great team player
