Remote Full Stack iOS Engineer (Swift, AWS, PostgreSQL, Node, and JavaScript)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking to hire a remote Full Stack iOS Engineer on behalf of a US-based company that invests in pre-seed and seed-stage consumer technology companies to fund product-centric projects. The developer will be responsible for writing clean code, building and implementing new application features, and making innovative software decisions. The company invests in products, missions, and projects that make people's life more fun and powerful while sitting at the intersection of the digital and physical world. Job Responsibilities:

- Perform test flights for the iOS app
- Architect and write robust, scalable code
- Make the application more modular to quickly perform micro pivots in order to add/take off features
- Make sure the back-end is stabilized, reliable, and set up correctly
- Build and ensure missing features are fixed
- Work with the existing codebase and make suggestions
- Fix bugs, especially around loading times and responsiveness


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or iOS engineer
- Extensive experience with Swift, AWS, PostgreSQL, Node, and JavaScript variations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Able to function without hand-holding and micromanagement
