Remote Full Stack Engineer (Python, TypeScript, and React)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking to hire a remote Full Stack Engineer on behalf of a VC-backed company that aims to become the global leader in the shipping crewing market. The developer will be working closely with the engineering team consisting of developers, to design, scale, and maintain existing applications while also building new ones. The US-based tech startup is recruiting, managing data, and connecting shipping companies with seafarers all across the world. The company has managed to raise funding worth more than $6mn. This will be a nice opportunity for the selected candidate to collaborate on solutions that provide clients with the best quality of services.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work across cross-functional teams to lead software development
- - Improve the performance, stability, and overall quality of the platform
- Work closely with the engineering teams to build new features and fix bugs efficiently
- Work with a wide range of systems and technologies and solve problems from end-to-end


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full Stack Engineer
- Extensive skills with Python, TypeScript, and React
- Familiarity with GCP, Django, and PostgreSQL is nice to have
- Prior experience in a leadership role in a startup environment
- Must be adaptable and product-driven
- Proficient English communication skills
