Turing is looking to hire a remote Full Stack Developer on behalf of a fast-growing US-based company that is active in the e-commerce industry. The developer must have some e-commerce experience to collaborate on niche Shopify 2.0 themes for other smaller sites, and define a new front-end style guide for Shopify that leans on app extensions for performance. This role presents an excellent opportunity for developers to gain broad exposure while working closely with industry veterans. It is a full-time position and requires at least 4 hours overlap with the EST time zone. Job Responsibilities: - Perform analysis and troubleshooting of error messages and bug reports to determine and deploy appropriate resolutions - Contribute to migrating the platform to a Shopify headless ecosystem - Collaborate with client teams to ensure a successful launch - Designing and developing code architecture that promotes the reuse, readability, and best-practice coding standards - Coding internal documents such as front-end style guides and pattern labs - Work on the internal tooling to optimize and fashion new ways for better efficiency on future projects Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) - At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer - Experience working with HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and Terminal - Must be comfortable reviewing and integrating APIs - Experience in JavaScript structural framework (React, Angular) - Strong expertise in Git development workflows and patching - Nice to have some experience with Liquid templating - LINK or similar (Twig/Mustache/Razor/etc.) How to Become a Turing Developer: - Create your account on the Turing platform - Fill in your basic information (name, number, location, previous salary, experience, etc.) - Solve multiple-choice questions - Schedule a technical interview - Final Onboarding Perks & Benefits: - Earn salaries higher than local standards - Work alongside a community of Google, Facebook, Microsoft engineers - Experience rapid career growth - No visa requirements to work with the best US companies - Better work-life balance This job will be open for applications until September 13, 2021.
