Remote Front-end Developer (React and TypeScript)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing.com is looking to hire a remote Front-end Developer on behalf of a US-based, VC-funded startup specializing in community intelligence marketing for e-commerce brands. The developer will work primarily on designing and developing innovative solutions and features to support the projects and web applications. The platform is trusted by industry-leading e-commerce and consumer brands. It has raised over $20 mn during its Series A funding round, along with multiple recognitions for its innovative product. This is an excellent chance for the selected candidate to work in a distributed engineering team with various opportunities for growth and personal development. The role requires a minimum of 4 hours overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work on building scalable features to solve customer problems and drive user engagement
- Collaborate across teams with product managers, designers, and other team members to understand and improve the user experience
- Develop high quality, reliable user-facing features and functionality using modern technologies
- Set standards and boost engineering best practices for development and operational excellence
- Influence the technical and product strategy, as well as the software architecture


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
- Must be experienced in React and TypeScript
- Deep expertise with scalable architecture and various software design patterns
- Nice to have some experience with GraphQL and PostgreSQL
- Expertise with building well designed, large-scale web applications
- Possess a solid motivation to solve customer problems and drive user satisfaction
