Turing is looking to hire a remote DevOps Engineer on behalf of a revolutionary platform that is revitalizing the pharma industry with innovative and cutting-edge solutions. The selected candidate will work and own the DevOps and AWS environments for different products. The platform merges hospice and pharmacy technology into one powerful platform with real-time drug status and visibility, ensuring that patients receive their meds as quickly as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team in providing healthcare solutions that are altering the pharmacy software space. It will be a long-term role and requires a minimum of 6 hours overlap with the MST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team and provide meaningful ideas
- Design and implement using AWS well-architected standards
- Take up ownership of the AWS environment
- Create and maintain the environment documentation
- Ensure existing environments stay up to date and follow the best Agile practices as it relates to CI/CD
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
- 3 - 6 years of scripting experience with Linux/Unix
- Proficiency in architecting scalable applications using AWS services
- Must be a certified AWS DevOps engineer or an AWS solutions architect
- Proficient with Git, Jenkins, and other automated software tools
- Extensive experience working with LAMP and BASH
- Prolific experience using Composer and NPM for package management
- Prior experience in building and using API’s and web services
- Experience with Apache and Nginx
- Experience with Agile practices and CI/CD sling with Jira
- Some experience with Jenkins, AWS servers, and infrastructure is nice to have
