Turing is looking for a remote Dev Lead Engineer on behalf of a US-based firm that provides a trusted portal for employers to connect with skilled machinists, maintenance techs, and other manufacturing professionals. The selected candidate will be responsible for the platform development, upcoming product roadmap, and maintaining a high level of tech infrastructure. The company serves as a link between manufacturers and skilled laborers for getting some first-hand manufacturing jobs sourced. The company has managed to secure fundings worth $2.5+ mn so far. This role requires some overlap with the CST time zone. This is a rare opportunity to work with talented, ambitious engineers in a highly collaborative team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build scalable and highly performant customer-facing applications
- Work closely with the product owners to translate feature requests into epics
- Collaborate with developers to break epics into manageable tasks
- Efficiently communicate with stakeholders about any updates in deliverables/timelines
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a lead full-stack developer
- Proficient with Node.js, Vue.js, and TypeScript
- Nice to have some experience with technologies like Nest.js, Loopback, GCP, Terraform, and ElasticSearch
- Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively
