Turing is looking to hire a remote Data Science NLP Analyst on behalf of a US-based startup developing a new category of debt management software for lenders and collection agencies. The candidate will be responsible for exploring the diverse array of datasets and developing models with direct products. The platform delivers actionable insights for banks, lenders, and ARM agencies through cloud-native collection intelligence. This will be an exciting opportunity to work in a high-growth company and rise quickly through the ranks. The role requires a time overlap with IST.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize machine learning techniques to design algorithms for anomaly detection, search, recommendation engines, etc.
- Leverage existing insights and develop new strategies to drive the product strategy
- Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative data and NLP solutions
- Integrate machine learning best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist
- Experience in Python and regular expressions
- Solid NLP modeling experience is nice to have
- Excellent written communication skills
- Proficiency with communication tools like Asana and Slack
- Fluency in English
