Turing is looking to hire a remote Data Engineer on behalf of a US-based company leading the market in social recruiting, digital engagement, social media technology, and lead generation. The developer will own the process of analyzing the current data, data structure, and process. The company is helping thousands of businesses leverage digital and social media environments. It has managed to secure fundings worth $13.5 mn so far. This role requires an overlap with the MST time zone, and it will be a long-term position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creation of Data Lake/Lake House etc. and reporting data structure/architecture
- Create and maintain effective data pipelines
- Clean up the current data and data processes
- Design and architect plans on how to clean up data and make it more usable with better data attribution
- Develop processes and structures to build scalable new products and use cases
- Manage and maintain reports along with the provision of analytical data
- Lead and train junior data engineers
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer
- Extensive experience with SQL and Azure Cloud (Data Pipelines, Data Factory, etc.)
- Prolific skills with Power BI Reporting and Polybase
- Ability to prioritize well and communicate clearly, with a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills
- Strong written/oral English communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to self-manage and multitask on multiple projects
