Turing is looking for a remote Back-End Systems Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing developer of cloud-based business intelligence software for enterprise data. The developer will be tasked with discovering new technologies and applying solid expertise and knowledge to deliver efficient solutions. The company's solution connects individual data centers to eliminate monopolistic cloud pricing while also increasing cloud efficiency up to 5 times. This will be a long-term role requiring 4+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
- Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Participate in code reviews and mentoring of other team members
- Propose, conceptualize, design, implement, and develop solutions for difficult and complex applications independently
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Back-End Developer
- Prolific knowledge of Python, Flask, and Rest APIs
- Strong Server knowledge is nice to have
- Familiarity with Virtualization Hypervisors, Kubernetes or Docker Containers, and Networking DNS is desirable
- Speak and write fluently in English
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineers and stakeholders
