Turing is looking to hire a remote Back-end Software Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing financial technology company revolutionizing the industry and providing financial security for customers and their families. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing elegant banking experiences for consumers. The company is building a digital service for a single all-purpose primary account with various features embedded into the platform. The selected candidate will join a team of Fintech innovators with proven results under the guidance of industry veterans experienced in pioneering other Fintechs. Job Responsibilities:
- Create simple and beautiful consumer-facing banking experiences
- Architect, evaluate, and scale RESTful microservices running on AWS that power the banking and card platform
- Excel in a growth mindset culture while leveraging opportunities to learn, discover and grow
- Deliver creative solutions that impact positively on the products and customers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to test, profile, and code review software
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant back-end or software engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience programming with JAVA and delivering API’s to production successfully
- Familiarity with Microservices and other JAVA-based frameworks such as Spring Boot, Enterprise Java, etc.
- Have a passion for quality to write clean, readable, and highly performant code
- Possess a collaborative spirit and a positive and can-do attitude
- Ability to learn fast, tackle complex problems and deliver impactful solutions
