Turing is looking for a remote Back-End Engineer on behalf of a US-based company offering a digital wallet that rewards users every time they send, spend, or save money. The selected candidate will be tasked with ensuring the high productivity, reliability, scalability, and performance of applications. The company is the first consumer fintech product whose creators are fully linked with its customers, cutting out inefficiencies in the financial system and returning the savings to users. Job Responsibilities:
- Solve complex problems while bringing new perspectives to the table
- Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable code
- Troubleshoot technical issues, fix code bugs and set up the required infrastructure
- Collaborate with product development teams
- Provide mentorship to other members of the team and implement back-end services
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
- Demonstrable work experience with Solidity or C++ or (Go or Rust)
- Nice to have some familiarity with Python
- Fluency in the English language
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate with autonomy in highly ambiguous situations
- Exceptional problem-solving aptitude with a knack for communicating thoughts and ideas clearly
- Function with minimum hand-holding and micromanagement
