React Native Engineer (JavaScript and UI/UX) - Remote

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role. Turing.com is looking for a React Native Engineer on behalf of a rapidly growing cryptocurrency platform. The engineer will be responsible for helping the company to expand their platform to mobile devices. The platform helps to facilitate the payment of goods and services with cryptocurrencies for consumers around the globe. Job Responsibilities: - Write unit tests, integration tests, and e2e tests - Develop a React Native application from scratch - Provide feedback on technical proposals from other engineers - Design the back-end components - Help team members to grow with effective code reviews and manage technical debt - Own the testing and performance plans for assigned projects - Memory management including garbage collection - Prototypes and prototype chaining Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) - At least 3+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in React Native - Expertise in JavaScript and React Native - Prior experience in designing epics - Must be familiar with Apple and Google’s submission, review, and deployment process - Great intuitive understanding of good UI/UX design principles - Familiarity with Typescript would be preferred - Prior experience in developing React Native applications with >5,000 users - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills How to Become a Turing Developer: - Create your account on the Turing platform - Fill in your basic information (name, number, location, previous salary, experience, etc.) - Solve multiple-choice questions - Schedule a technical interview - Final Onboarding Perks & Benefits: - Earn salaries higher than local standards - Work alongside a community of Google, Facebook, Microsoft engineers - Experience rapid career growth - No visa requirements to work with the best US companies - Better work-life balance This job will be open for applications until September 09, 2021.
