-Fulfilling the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the VMware virtual infrastructure, including, but not limited to, vCenter Server Appliance, vRealize Operations Manager (vROps), vSphere ESXi Hypervisor and other VMware Products; -Fulfilling upgrades and applying patches or firmware updates to the virtual infrastructure software or hardware; -Participating in the 24/7 on- call support rotation, responding to support calls both during and after business hours /weekends /holidays/ shutdowns; -Migration, Provisioning and Cloning virtual machines and server appliances as needed; -Fulfilling daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all virtual hardware, resources, systems, and key processes; -Develop and document standards in the areas of configuration, provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, installation, and compliance; -Take ownership of incidents and identify problem trends to improve the overall dependability of the environment and meet appropriate Service Level Agreements; and -Coordinate vendor activity and support as an escalation point for hardware and software issues as a technical lead. Qualifications: -VMware Certified Professional is advantage; -Experience with VMware vCenter and VMware vSphere; -Ability to drive efficient resolution of all incidents through analytical and structured approaches to problem solving; -Ability to learn new products and technologies; -Ability to develop standard operating procedures and project documentation. -1 year of experience supporting an enterprise IT environment; -1 year supporting enterprise Server, Storage and Virtualization technologies (VMware); -Knowledgeable of network topology, backup solution and security products; and -Outstanding customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication.
