Reports to: Workhub General Manager

Work in collaboration with: Aged Care Facility Managers/Nursing staff/Registered Nurses/Healthcare Assistants

Position Summary

This position ensures that by managing and coordinating the healthcare workers placements & client job requirements have been fulfilled promptly.

You will directly, manage and supervise the team to ensure quality standards are maintained and that the service is delivered in a timely way in line with clients needs and wishes.

This role is dedicated to providing support to staff in the field and is responsible for supervising the healthcare workers so that the clients requirements have been met efficiently within the given short time.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all staffing services to all clients
  • Build confidence in and advocate the benefits of Carehub staffing solutions
  • Ensure Carehub job assignments for clients are fully coordinated with Director and provide high quality services to clients
  • Ensure all healthcare workers comply necessary induction, training on correct use of CH systems and processes, and continues education on healthcare qualification including but not limited to intro to Aged care/Delirium/Dementia and Career force qualification
  • Creates and maintains staff weekly rosters
  • Working with urgency and ensuring that workers are supplied in a timely manner to the facilities
  • Facilitate Care Team meetings monthly with the health care workers to discuss and share information regarding the ongoing services provided for the clients
  • Document time sheets weekly by coordinating with the healthcare workers and the Accounts department
  • Maintain documentation of all client encounters and complete reporting requirements according to organization standards
  • Track client information, schedules, files, and forms in a confidential manner
  • Ensure feedback from clients and workers are documented and discussed during the monthly team meetings
  • Initiate outreach and missed appointment procedures, as necessary
  • Attend and represent the organisation at professional conferences, in-service trainings, and meetings at the request of or with the approval of supervisor
  • Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to meet legislative and internal quality and compliance requirements


Requirements
  • Commitment to the mission of coordinating with the healthcare workers and the clients
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and ability to speak concisely to the healthcare team and clients
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to manage different priorities
  • Ability to work with others and use resources to problem solve
  • Organized with confidential information about client materials, job orders and other documentation
  • Ability to communicate & build relationships with different types of people, including clients, organization members, and members of the health care team
  • Knowledge of and passionate belief in primary, community or aged residential care settings
  • Ability to work under pressure & provide sound solutions
  • Pastoral care skills for migrant and local workers
  • Facilitation of minor events such as Orientation Seminars & Monthly Team meetings
  • Must be a NZ Resident or Citizen
  • Must have a full NZ Drivers Licence


Education and Experience
  • Proven work experience as a Care Coordinator or similar role
  • Computer literacy is necessary
  • Experience working in the Healthcare Industry is an advantage
  • Preferably speaking other languages
