Our company is a company in rapid growth and has identified a need to strengthen our team with a Procurement/Supply Chain Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement and supply chain, and will in addition support the finance department.


Competence requirements

Education: Bachelor s degree in procurement/supply chain management, logistics, or business administration

In-depth knowledge and experience related to follow up of vendors/suppliers, preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing and negotiation of terms

Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 years

Language: Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and orally


Main responsibilities

Develop appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.

Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.

Monitor and correct inventory levels to ensure rotation and optimize working capital.

Support proper utilization of ERP systems.

Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.

Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet company requirements including ethical requirements.

Contribute to cost control and follow up of cost development (special focus on purchasing)

Issue purchase orders.

Drive the S&OP (Sales and operating planning) process together with Sales, Global Operations and Trondheim Operations to ensure correct inventory levels and capacity both internally and with suppliers.

Cost Allocation of purchased product and internal production

Invoice control, invoice follow-up and coordination with the accountant on incoming invoices

Support month-end and monthly internal reporting.

Implement routines for measuring and reporting performance according to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Responsible for service contracts on instruments and other equipment.
