We have an opportunity for a Materials Manager to join our Honeywell team in Delft.
As a Materials Manager you will lead the logistics and planning departments. You need to ensure that customer demand and forecast are planned within the factory to maximize delivery response through material and labor availability. This must be done while ensuring minimum inventory, cost and waste. You will lead, coach and motivate employees in Logistics and Planning to create a continuous improvement culture in accordance with the Honeywell Operation System.
Ensure HSE compliance, performance, culture
Work with EFS SIOP leader to develop & maintain a strong SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations) Planning process
Responsible for ERP System. Master Schedule to be loaded over 18 months forecast horizon in line with AOP/SIOP minimum horizon.
Develop and maintain a valid PFEP (Plan for Every Part) in conjunction with buyer and planners, assigning appropriate replenishment strategies with calculated safety stock levels and other key planning parameters
Ensure maximum Customer satisfaction through strong Plant Planning processes
Manage the inbound logistics and warehouse function to maximize production availability whilst minimizing cost
Document and review work processes continually to ensure that all procedures are up to date with current operating practices Develop and maintain strong inventory management practices at the factory

Excellent communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch language skills required

Bachelor s degree or HBO in business or supply chain management preferred
A formal qualification in materials management is required (e.g., APICS CPIM)
Knowledge of Lean tools (Kanban, continuous flow, standardized work), preferably green belt certified
Thorough knowledge and experience in Manufacturing/Planning/Materials/Supply Chain Management
Extensive knowledge of MPS/MRP.
Experience in Lean Philosophy
Microsoft Word and Excel Skills
Advanced ability to effectively problem-solve within multi-disciplined teams, communicate (orally and in writing), lead business discussions and train others
Strong leadership skills, people manager
Change management experience
Result driven
Positive team player with experience working in cross functional teams
Strong organizational skill set Green Belt Certification preferred
