Your tasks

The 350bn European logistics market is huge in size but barely digitized and highly inefficient and fragmented. Shippers struggle to find reliable carriers at stable prices and carriers struggle to find regular shipments and geographically predictable trips leading to 30% of all trucks running empty in Europe. This creates a massive opportunity.

InstaFreight is bringing logistics into the digital age. As a digital platform for shippers and carriers, Instafreight better serves its core customers using technology. Our platform enables us to match supply and demand in overland transport more efficiently than the legacy players who still use telephones, fax machines and spreadsheets. The results for customers using our technology: lower prices, more efficiency, transparency, and faster payments.

We deploy modern technology in agile organizational structures and regularly challenge what has been the status quo in the industry for decades. As a result of this disruptive approach, we are transforming a massive industry and are growing rapidly.

We are looking for you (m/f/d) to further accelerate our strong growth phase in Latvia. As part of our international transports you will be responsible for the acquisition of strategic anchor customers as well as smaller and medium-sized accounts. With this task, you will permanently ensure the chartering of our own fleet as well as carriers and therefore play a central role in the success of the team.

  • You acquire new customers through a variety of sales channels (trade fairs, cold calls, tenders, direct approaches, etc.)
  • You look after existing customers and develop your own customer portfolio
  • You handle price inquiries and tenders and take care of the creation of operational concepts in consultation with your team
  • You manage the entire sales process from preparation, support to follow-up of business implementations, taking into account different stakeholders
  • You manage all relevant loadboards as well as cargo mailing lists and ensure a clean interface between shippers and InstaFreight

Your Profile

  • You love to sell and talk to customers - you are an especially strong communicator on the phone
  • Ideally, you have already gained some experience in transport logistics - this is just a plus
  • You work very customer and solution oriented
  • You are a team player and know how to create win-win situations together with different stakeholders
  • You know how to communicate in a very straightforward way and get along well with direct communication that prevails in our industry
  • You pursue a self-dependent and organized way of working
  • You are fluent in English and in Latvian (spoken and written)
