Your Responsibilities
To strengthen our FRIDAY team in Luxembourg or Berlin, we are looking for a Senior Qualitative Risk Manager (all genders) with great motivation to support us. Under the responsibility of the Head of Risk Management, you ensure the effective operation of our risk management system by executing the risk and governance program and maintaining an organization-wide and aggregated view on the company's risk profile.
- Assist the Risk Function in the translation of the company's risk appetite and risk policies into the daily business.
- Support first line risk owners in consistently applying the Risk Management Framework to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report all material risks.
- ALCO RICO (Asset Liability Committee / Risk Committee): Assist the team in the preparation of the agenda, collecting and preparing the supporting documentation and writing the minutes.
- Support the design and monitoring of key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Maintain and develop policies based on the applicable governance framework.
- Be the interface and contact person for other departments in the company and work closely with them.
- Further development and coordination of processes and formats for regulatory reporting requirements (ORSA, RSR, SFCR) and for quantitative quarterly reporting under Solvency II, incorporating Group policies in cooperation with the Group Risk Management.
- Promote a culture of strong risk awareness across the company.
Your ideal background and skillset
- You have successfully completed a degree in economics or mathematics or a comparable qualification.
- You have gained initial professional experience in this area at a financial services company or an auditing firm.
- You shine with sound knowledge in the assessment, measurement, and control of risks and expertise in risk management and control according to Solvency II.
- You bring strong methodological and conceptual skills coupled with an analytical mindset.
- You are a team player with all-round vision and a hands-on mentality,
- You have very good English skills - French and/or German is an advantage.
