We have an opportunity for a Sr Estimator role to join our Performance Materials and Technologies team in Almaty.

As an Estimator in our team you will prepare and deliver documentation (estimations, proposals, clarifications and other information) in response to customer requests and in coordination with the sales and operations teams, you will analyze customer requests and work with sales, operations and other internal support teams to propose solutions which best fit the technical and commercial requirements and you will also leverage internal estimating toolset to accurately develop cost estimates, proposals, requests, responses and supporting documentation.

Guide and expedite all involved parties to ensure that responses and proposals are delivered on time and with the highest regard for quality and to secure a high rate of success on bids/orders you ll be also on your daily activity.

Tasks

• Analyze request for quotation and other documents / technical drawings provided by the customer. Define proposal plan which should include all resources, responsibilities, deliverables and due dates for the members of the involved estimation team.
• Estimate Lifecycle Solutions Services and Project Automation Solutions hardware, software and services using internal estimating toolset. Expedite and coordinate responses from sales, operations, contracts, procurement and other support teams to complete proposals as required
• Full proposal and costing of all Honeywell hardware, software and services, other 3rd party content, contingencies. Coordinate internal processes such as Kick-off Meeting, Proposal Review Meeting, Risk and Opportunity review, Approval Process
• Assist in customer clarification meetings when required. Answer post-offer technical questions / clarifications and update the offer if necessary. Prepare the booking package per standard Proposal & Estimation procedures when the project is won.
• Work with the pole proposal workforce planner or other area proposal leaders to ensure appropriate resource planning covering all businesses needs on local / regional / area and back office base.

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree, preferable in Engineering
• Strong experience in process automation and control solutions starting with 3 years hands-on experience. Experience with products and solutions within the industrial automation market such as knowledge of DCS or SCADA systems
• Fluent verbal and written Russian and English language. Other language knowledge is a plus.
• Experience on a similar role as an Estimator, Proposal Engineer etc. will help you through your daily activities as you will be in charge for delivering estimates and proposals
• Microsoft office tools and other business level applications (such as SalesForce.com)
