Senior Vice President of Ecosystem Development (FinTech/Cryptocurrency)
Our client is Africa s portal into the crypto economy. They are building a financial structure that iscentralised in crypto exchange, a lending platform, an NFT marketplace, and other products to fullybring Sub-Saharan Africa into the new world of decentralised finance, ownership, and creativity.With the backing of premier crypto investors and Silicon Valley VC firms, they are now structuringthe introduction of their first product set to our launch markets, which are in Kenya and Nigeria.

Requirements
At least one year s experience in a technology start-up environment is a must-have.
+6 years of experience in a similar role
Experienced in sales, business development, marketing - professional commercial, marketing and communication skills combined are fundamental to this role.
You are comfortable speaking the language of marketing/sales funnels, know your way around a business model, and have a creative and strategic mindset.
Experience working with different stakeholders in the tech start-up ecosystem is essential to this role.
Excellent communication skills.
Creative, process-driven, proactive - while youre great at jumping in and doing things last-minute, when necessary, you have strong skills in creating processes to ensure that nothing is forgotten and your work flows smoothly.
Highly organised and a proactive problem solver great at managing your time and workload to ensure everything gets done
Ability to multitask
Comfortable working autonomously and within a team
Fluency in French is a plus
Responsibilities
Create meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with partner organizations
Grow our engagement with stakeholders in the tech ecosystem - raising awareness of our brand and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement with key stakeholders within the wider ecosystem - start-ups, journalists, investors, members of the government, etc.
Lead and contribute to complex and time-critical projects for senior leaders by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized scope and approach for resolution in ambiguous situations.
Analyse and determine key insights by crossing research results with key business drivers, competitive environment, trends, and operating metrics.
Communicate findings to senior leadership by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways.
Fully own relationships and workflows across our Technology Partners and be the subject matter expert for your partner portfolio
Pair with our marketing team to develop and distribute partner co-marketing collateral support co-marketing activities
Work closely with the Ecosystem Program Manager to receive partner feedback and develop new initiatives and programs to support our ecosystem of Technology Partners
Creatively identify and execute new and interesting ways to leverage integrations to drive mutual value for the company and its partners
