Senior Business Developer (Remittance/FinTech/Cryptocurrency/UK Market)
Our client is Africa s portal into the crypto economy. They are building a financial structure that iscentralised in crypto exchange, a lending platform, an NFT marketplace, and other products to fullybring Sub-Saharan Africa into the new world of decentralised finance, ownership, and creativity.With the backing of premier crypto investors and Silicon Valley VC firms, they are now structuringthe introduction of their first product set to our launch markets, which are in Kenya and Nigeria.

Requirements
15+ years of experience in Business Development
Tertiary qualification in business, marketing or related field required.
Previous experience negotiating contracts
Authentic interest for business, finance, the evolution of regulation, crypto/blockchain as the rails future of the continent, and our mission to succeed at the crypto-transformation of Africa
Ability to multitask and to manage varied priorities across multiple senior internal and external stakeholders that are geographically dispersed
You are adaptable to an ever-changing environment and do not shy away from accountability
Entrepreneurial with an ability to create and follow plans yet flexible enough to respond to change while balancing multiple projects and priorities.
Strong project management & organisational skills
An ability to focus on big picture and delve into granular understanding and detail
Responsibilities
Focused on government relationships, corporate partnerships, and operational partnerships; Traditional business development in the UK.
Focus on sourcing partners and interest in the B2B remittance product for capital flows between the UK and Nigeria/Kenya
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones through the development and execution of a comprehensive business development strategy.
Developing channel partnership strategy, execution, and overall management plan for partner relationships.
Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Foster and develop relationships with customers/client including partners
Draw up client proposals and contracts
Have a deep understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise others about them
Recruit and train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate
Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
Liaise with the finance team, and product sales departments as appropriate
Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
Enhance the client s relationships with key government stakeholders as they work to develop win-win regulatory groundwork across the region
Evolve existing relationships with strategic partners to further enhance the possible avenues the company has towards increasing user acquisition, engagement, and multi-verticality
Provide deal sourcing and operating partner support for teams across the company
