Software Engineer

Position Name:Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Support the team's ongoing work to gain access to new data sources, and pull them (Python, API, SQL direct connections, etc.) into our data warehouse
• Support our ongoing process-automation work (Python, RPA bots, etc.)
• Create datasets for BI visualization (experience with DOMO a plus) • Maintain a repository and work with GitHub.
• Writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using programming logic and work well in a team.

Qualifications:

• Expertise In Core Python (Data Structures, OOPs concepts, Variables, and data types, File handling, concepts, Exception Handling, Generators, Iterators)
• Work with our development group to understand the customer (mobile operator) environment, network topology, data flows and KPIs.
• Proven experience in Python, including relevant frameworks, such as pandas, Tkinter
• Experience with data analysis tools, such as Jupyter notebooks, PyCharm
• Previous experience working on products involving analysis of big data sets
• Hands-on experience on database and SQL.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API.
• Experience on Business Intelligence tool (Power BI, DOMO) will be added advantage.
• Prepare technical documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Passion for technology with a strong interest in modern / emerging technologies and approaches.
• Coach Junior team member
